Internships

Internship Year 3

vmbo-b/ vmbo-k /vmbo-t

At Nuenens College, Year 3 students complete a two-week internship at a workplace. It’s a valuable opportunity to explore the working world and gain insight into various professions. These internships take place in the two weeks before the May holidays.

We believe it’s important that our students discover what working entails, which professions suit them, what they excel at, and what they need to achieve their career goals.

During the internship, students are supervised both by a workplace supervisor and a school supervisor. They work on various assignments to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible.

Internship Year 4

vmbo-b/ vmbo-k

In Year 4, we offer students in the Basic Vocational Pathway and Intermediate Vocational Pathway a unique opportunity: the Lintstage. For 10 weeks, students do an internship every Friday, from mid-December to early March.

During the Lintstage, students gain experience in the working world. This not only helps them in their current education but also assists them in making a well-informed decision about their future studies. During this period, they receive intensive supervision and are encouraged to gain as much practical experience as possible.
